About us

Built by someone who did this work in person

Enhance Minority helps minorities and people facing hardship understand community resources and take the next step toward support.

Why this exists

Enhance Minority grew out of more than ten years of front-line community work. Again and again the same pattern appeared: help existed, but people could not reach it. Eligibility rules were confusing, organizations did not know about each other, language support was inconsistent, paperwork was heavy, and nobody followed up after a referral was made.

The founder's experience is the reason this platform focuses on navigation rather than on being another list of links. Knowing a program exists is not the same as being able to use it.

Who we serve

Minority, underserved and disadvantaged individuals and families — including immigrants and refugees, people with limited English, people without stable housing or transport, elders, people with disabilities, and anyone who has been told to "just apply online" without any real way to do it.

You are not asked to prove hardship to use this website. Searching resources and asking a question are open to everyone.

What we will not do

  • We will not promise that every need can be met. Resource shortages are real.
  • We will not decide your eligibility for a program; only the program can.
  • We will not share your information with an organization without your permission.
  • We will not publish numbers or claims we cannot support with real records.
  • We will not present ourselves as an emergency service.

Independence

Enhance Minority is an independent effort. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated on behalf of any government agency or national referral service. Where other services are mentioned, they are mentioned only so you can reach them directly.
