For service providers
Getting your programs listed
Accurate listings save people wasted trips. Here is what we ask for, and what we do with it.
How to suggest a program
Email the details below to info@enhanceminority.com or call (612) 886-8346. A person reads every submission, checks it and replies within 24 hours. Nothing appears publicly until we have confirmed it.
What a listing needs
- Program name, the organization behind it and a plain-language description
- Service area, by county or statewide, and whether it can be used remotely
- Who it is for, in the program's own words, including age or income rules
- Cost, hours, languages spoken and interpretation arrangements
- Accessibility features, and whether the location must stay confidential
- The steps to apply and what people should bring
- A contact route that a member of the public can actually use
Keeping availability honest
Providers will be able to report whether they are accepting people, running a waiting list, or full. We show the date of that report, and once it becomes old we display it as needing confirmation rather than as current. We would rather show uncertainty than send someone to a closed door.
How referrals will arrive
- Only with the person's recorded permission
- Only the information needed to consider their request
- With a clear route to tell us the outcome, including a decline
- Never as a bulk list of names
What being listed does not mean
A listing is not an endorsement, a contract or a funding relationship. We may remove or pause a listing if it is inaccurate, if people report being turned away without explanation, or if we cannot verify it.
